Change admin Username

Hello buddies.
I have VPS and my main and only username is "admin". I noticed the brute force attacks attempt to log-in into with "admin" and "root" username, so I thought It's a good idea to change "admin" username to another username for instance named "special_user".
Am I right?

CSF firewall detects login failures automatically and block the IPs instantly, so you might consider installing it. However, if you'd really like to change the username, the following should do the trick for you: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=193.
