Hi all.

I have changed the placeholder index.html in the folders:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/default
and
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/default
and
/home/admin/domains/default/

My file is named "index.html".

I create new domains with my admin account. Still, the new domains are showing the default directadmin placeholder.. with the text:
"To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory"

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I followed the guide on the DirectAdmin site.

- How can I edit all of the templates, messages, and default index.html pages?

- I want to change the default index.html created with new domains.

Says to change the files in the folders:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/default
and
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/default

http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=278
Tells me how to change the file.

I have followed both guides and done what it said and restarted the server. It is still grabbing the old one though. Any suggestions?

1. Make sure you've modified files of a proper reseller
2. Check and see what you have in public_html of a newly created user. How many index files with different extensions?

I need to see and test it myself in order to provide more suggestions.

Thanks in advance,
