DA Backup wont work

I tried to do a backup of admin and all users and it actually told me the backup was going to be queued and then it told me when the backup was done it would tell me via the message system.

Well the message system told me the backup was ready but the directory was empty! I tried this 5 times.

Make sure it's putting the backups where you think it should be.

It's supposed to put the backup in /home/admin/admin_backups but the backups are not there. It even created that directory during the first failed backup. Before I tried backing up the /home/admin directory didn't even exist and when I tried backing up to that path it created the directories but there was no backup file at all.

Ok when I moved the directory to /tmp it worked somehow

If it works in /tmp but not in /home/admin/admin_backups then you must have a permissions problem somewhere.

Note that some distributions have been known to empty /tmp whenver a system is rebooted. If you're depending on your backups surviving a reboot, be sure to check this behavior.
