DA isn't finding a backup file that it created

Hello:

Forgive me in advance if this is a stupid (or previously asked) question:

I have a daily back of my site scheduled from the Admin menu. The backups are saved using the "Full Date" append so each of them are put into a seperate subfolder with the date. This morning, I've got the first need to restore my backup. The problem is that when I go to the process to restore, DA says there are no backup files available.

I can see the files in File Manager. I also tried pulling the latest backup into the "root" of my backup folder and that didn't work.

Any idea what may be causing the problem?

You need to move the backup file to the admin_backups folder.
DirectAdmin does not check the subfolders in the backup folders as far as I know.
 
thank you - I tried that before (that's what I meant by the "root" of the backup folder) - and it didn't work then.

But now it shows up. Not sure what's different. Must just be a crazy Friday.
