DA update to 1.674, and Dovecot 2.4, where FTS-Xapian was enabled?

Hello All,
Not sure this is the best place for this question..

What is the best way to update DirectAdmin to update to 1.674, and Dovecot 2.4 with its new FTS Flatcurve, on systems where FTS-Xapian was enabled?

will FTS-Xapian be automatically replaced with FTS Flatcurve?

Hello,

I am not too sure, whether or not there is an automatic way to complete a removal of FTS-Xapian files and indexes. But you can always test it on your own and remove FTS-Xapian indexes manually (if they don't get removed). It might be helpful for others if you share your experience.

i will definitely post a follow-up on my experience..

The move to Dovecot 2.4.x sounds like a pretty big deal, so i'll wait until the release of DA 1.676 to see how it goes (rn, my server is showing 1.674 as current)..
i hope this will help resolve the issues i've been seeing with iOS devices (i hope to have good news to post on that soon!)
