I have been busy with school, and hadn't taken much of a look at my server until now, and I noticed that it was reporting a higher bandwidth usage than I am use to. Upon looking at the detailed bandwidth logs, the DirectAdmin service was consuming around 1.62GB of traffic each day. Not much happens on this server, so there is no way there should be this much traffic. I attempted to search for other posts, but all I got was people complaining about specific users.

I am kind of at a loss of what would cause this. Has any else had an issue with this? I am currently using ubuntu 10 TLS and will be upgrading once XenServer releases new templates. I figured it may be something misconfigured on my system, but I honestly don't know the first place to look.

Can you find anything in any of the DirectAdmin logs?

/var/log/directadmin

For that User, check
Code:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/[B]username[/B]/DAdminUsage.bytes
which might offer up more info about what's going on.
