DNS issues, newbie here

I am 100% new here, first server with DA (normally use CP but testing DA). I am trying to setup DNS, which I believe I did already in admin level. Problem is all 8 available ip's show status 'free' when 2 of them should be occupied by ns1 and ns2. I have already (maybe I did it wrong) setup the nameservers.

Am I doing somethign wrong?

In DNS administration I added one domain name and it looks normal to me. How do I properly add the nameservers with each respective IP?

You need to assign the ip addresses you want to use to a reseller, probably the admin reseller. Then in the reseller level there is a link named 'nameservers'.
There you'll be able to check the two ip addresses you want to use and create the nameservers.

Note: The domain you want to use for your nameservers must be setup in your admin or reseller user level.

I already assigned the IP's to admin for all of them. The question here is how do I assign an IP to ns1 and one for ns2 in admin level?

The Admin user consists of 3 levels.

1. Admin
2. Reseller
3. User

All of them belonging to the admin user. Each level only contains the functions for such levels. Nameserver managment would be the job of the Reseller, which you would set by entering the reseller level of the admin user. Its still the admin user setting it up, just under a different "level".
