hi,
i have symlinked my /usr/local/directadmin to /home/directadmin. This (ofcourse) works without problems, however, i just noticed it istn't accepted in the admin level system backup ! eg. it makes a .tar.gz file of all config files etc. and also from the entire /usr/local folder HOWEVER it only sees the directadmin as a link and it DOESN'T follow it....... Thank god i also do a reseller backup :)

can this be fixed so that symlinks are followed??

It would be dangerous to follow symlinks; doing so would make it easy to make multiple copies of directory systems... which would make it easy to fill a drive during a backup.

That said, you can search for the sysbk config file and perhaps you'll find a setting.
