Hi,
I have accidentally delete a reseller user with 50 users, we restored the users from the backup and we run the command line.

echo "action=cache&value=showallusers" >> /usr/local/directadmin/data/task.queue
/usr/local/directadmin/dataskq d

So far so good, the users are still in the overview, but when i click on the filemanager, there is nothing.

Does anyone know the procedure to restore a backup for the reseller, which path must I follow to restore this issue.

Hello,

Can you clarify on this?
when i click on the filemanager, there is nothing.
Are you looking for user tar.gz files, or are you referring to all data that belongs to the users?

Are you able to login to DirectAdmin as those Users?
Admin Level -> Show All Users -> username -> login as username

include any error messages you're seeing.

Hi John,

In the mean time, there is a solution; We have restore a backup from a day earlier and restored all paths to the different parts of DA.
What a Hell is that, so many different options to solve.
What i had done, in the show all user tab, i deleted the domains which belong to the reseller, we use in some cases migdomain.tld to add some users to a reseller, and i was in the understanding that migdomain.tld wasn;t used for anything so i deleted, not aware of the consequences, DNS gonna flipped Zone files and content, mail paths where deleted.
It was a stupid human fault.
so herby a warning don't delete any temp users for reseller/migration proces cuz your customers won't work anymore.
