Dear master, I met any difficulties in setting the MX Record to Microsoft Exchange Server (Mail Services) for my office. My ISP already done with Google Aps, and its very perfect. But, when I ask them about setting up MX Record to Microsoft Exchange, they don't have any idea.

I almost understand to use CPanel management page. But, I don't quite understand about using this DirectAdmin management page.

So, hereby I would like to ask for help in setting MX Record for office's server to Microsoft Exchange Server.

Condition:
1. My office has 3 mail domain, they are [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. So it would be a parent and 2 childs domain.

2. Microsoft people already give me the MX Record + CName + A Record + SRV bellow:
DNS Record Type:
MX

Host:
staff.domain.com

MX server:
000000000.mail.outlook.com

TTL:
3600 or 1 hour

Priority:
0 (or High priority)

DNS Record Type:
MX

Host:
student.domain.com

MX server:
111111111.mail.outlook.com or token.mail.outlook.com (token has 9 digits number)

TTL:
3600 or 1 hour

Priority:
0 (or High priority)

DNS Record Type:
MX

Host:
domain.com

MX server:
222222222.mail.outlook.com

TTL:
3600 or 1 hour

Priority:
0 (or High priority)

Don’t forget to add autodiscover cname to activate Direct Push and others

DNS Record Type:
CNAME

Host:
autodiscover

Value:
autodiscover.outlook.com

Additionaly you might want to activate the IM features

DNS Record Type:
SRV

Host:
_sipfederationtls._tcp.domain.com

Value:
10 2 5061 federation.messenger.msn.com

Help Help Help

This entry in the DirectAdmin Knowledgebase should be helpful.

I've moved your thread; the How-To subforum is for instructional How-Tos, and not for questions.
