How to change send from mail adress

When I send login details to new customers there is an incorrect name displayed from who the mail is send from.

It does not display my mail address or company name, i cannot find anywhere in DA where I can change this to it uses the name or mail address which I want.
It also does not show the server hostname, this hostname is correct and is not the same as the send from mail name.

Anyone an idea how to change this?
 
From the Admin Panel, click "Manage Tickets" (under Server Management). Make sure your e-mail address is properly set there. Then, switch over to your User Panel (near top right of screen) and click "Site Summary / Statistics / Logs" and set your e-mail address and name there.
 
On both places there is a correct mailaccount/name listed but when a mail is send with new login details an other name is listed!
Also when I go to the user level as you mentioned I get an empty screen with only a button "Domain Administration" and the text: No Data to Show

There is only 1 reseller created and all domains are listed under this reseller (this is NOT the admin user!

In manage ticket on ad,in level the following E-mail address is listed:
[email protected] (I replaced all before @)
On all outgoing login mails address [email protected] is used as sender address!

The server name of the server is srv1.connectxs.nl
The domain flexwebhosting.nl is NOT on this server!

I cannot find anywhere where the server gets the info to use flexwebhosting.nl as sender address.
 
Is it possible that u rented the server via flexwebhosting???
If so maybe they own the DA license and maybe they set their email as admin email .

Our name is send automaticly with each mail of new login details as sender address, we have nowhere specified this as far as I know.
If it is specified somewhere then I have no idea where too look, I cannot find it anywhere.
As far as I know the licence has no influence on the sender mail address, the license is indeed listed on our name (flexwebhosting).

Login as Admin and try http://www.urdomain.com/CMD_SHOW_USER?user=admin
There u will see the admin email address and u can change it there.
 
I know but as I said here is the mail address which is send with the outgoing mail not mentioned. Here is the correct mail address entered what should be used but it is not......

Somewhere in the setup of DA there is still our mail address listed, but I have no idea where...
 
Is this by chance the problem:

The From name and email in the welcome messages are whatever is set at the reseller level.

So if you've got a reseller named example, then, logged in as admin, check the reseller's user data and verify the name and email address there.

Problem is in the admin user data.
I am a customer off flexwebhosting and experienced the same problem.

Logging in as admin click the list administrators link.
From there select the admin en click the button admin's user data there you should see the from name and mail adres.

Change it and it is fixed :)
 
Same type of issue

I have setup a newsletter within my one user website. The issue is that it sends the email from address "[email protected]". Within my code it tells it to change it to "[email protected]" but it does not do this. Is there a way to override the default email address that the user account sends from without changing the username of that account?
