Hi,

It works fine for other application but not for one of my site at http://www.sweetgift.com.sg

if yes, use other rules.
in no, take look to (disable_functions) in php.ini

Running 64bit CentOS 4.4

Any idea what the problem is?
 
it being 64 bit may be your problem. Everyone I know who has tried centos 64 bit and others has had nothing but problems. There is no need for 64 bit on server anyway.
 
I think it's because CentOS 4.4, it works fine on CentOS 4.2
I tried google saw others has similar problem with CentOS 4.4

i tried to upgrade from 1.3, it went all the way through then refused to restart the apache service. So i used the info here: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=54

and during the ./build all in step 3 after about 4 minutes of running the server closed my SSH session. Now its refusing all my ssh attempts.....

right now im screwed, i need help yesterday :confused:

running CentOS 4.3, any ideas?
 
got the build finished, followed the rest of the instructions....still failed.

make sure mod_security lines are commented out of your httpd.conf

or remove it completely and recompile.

you are probably compiling apache 2 with mod security for apache 1

For karakter problem do this :

Edit /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

Find the line that says:

AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

Change this to:

AddDefaultCharset iso-8859-9

Save and Exit the file.

Restart apache to save the changes

The problem is that for some reason apxs puts the wrong directory prefix in the LoadModule line.

For instance:

Code: 
LoadModule  security_module   lib/apache/mod_security.so

when it should be

Code: 
LoadModule security_module    modules/mod_security.so

changing the LoadModule line to point to the right location will fix it.
 
Why when running './build php_ap2 y' does it compile php4.4.4 when im currently running 5.1.6? Should i have put './build php_ap2 n'?

EDIT: Edited the php version number in the build file (to 5.1.6) and ran using php_ap2 n as 'y' crashed the shell and all worked fine :)

Hello i try to update apache to 2.* and no i get the next error when i try to start httpd.

I read here a other member with the same probs, but not te solution of it.
