Hi,

I make a stupid mistake, i have delete user admin :( how can i recover the user via shell into directadmin ?

greetz rem

Via the second admin account called reseller :( is there a way via shell to set the user admin back ?

Via the second admin account called reseller

There is no second admin account called reseller unless you added a second administrator. Did you first add another administrator? It seems odd that you would call the second administrator "reseller."

In order to help you we first have to understand how damage you have done.

hehe i always create a second admin account called reseller ;) with this account a delete account admin :(

That is very bad. I would have to look at the file system to know how much damage has been done. There is a lot of information associated with the admin account. Why not try using the second administrator account to add admin again? Its just a guess.

hehehe lol there is not damage only the admin user is gone thats all ;) is there some one here who know how to set it back.

I bet there is more damage than you think.

Follow your OS distribution's instructions for adding a system user.

hi , you can reinstall the da .
/usr/local/directadmin/directadmin i

that will create new admin , with def settings.

its fixed, and all work fine thanks directadmin support.

Having reseller as the creator shouldn't be a problem.
Also, deleting the admin user is allowed, it's not a manditory account.

If you want to change the creator of an Admin account anyway, edit:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/adminname/user.conf

change:
creator=reseller

to:
creator=root

only do this for Admin level accounts though.
