I tried to reboot from the directadmin service monitor, but when I entered the admin password and pressed the reboot button,

I used enhanced skin.
It was able to restart normally until last year,
is this due to an update?

I can confirm the bug on my side as well. Only DirectAdmin developers might check and fix it.

Evolution skin sends:

{"passwd":"asdasdasd","json":"yes"}

Enhanced skin sends:

password=asdasdasdn&reboot=Reboot

password is sent in different variables to the server by the skins.

That was my first thought too. Then I connected to DirectAdmin and tested)

I have just tested it myself and as I can see:

- EVO - can reboot using "admin" password
- Enhanced - nether "root" nor "admin" passwords work.

So, I will try checking it closer with developers.

Thanks everyone. It seems to be a skin-related bug. I'll wait for it to be fixed. In the meantime, I'll reboot from my console.

That issue should be fixed in DA version 1.695. Tomorrow it will be available in ALPHA if anybody wants to test the Server Reboot from Enhanced Skin.
