I am expecting that..

The last no reserve license that was listed jumped from $27.25 to $166.00 on the last day and had a total of 81 bids.

Bidding wars can be fun to watch... and there's going to be 3 of them! :D

Just remember.. each person/company is allowed to have only 1 of these licenses so don't get carried away and put high bids on all of them! ;)

I hesitated a long time during the last auction to ask a friend to get a license so that I could setup a test box, but I'll get a sysadmin instead.

That's my only problem with DA right now, it's that we cannot have a test license limited to one domain. I'm transitioning from one server to another and the way I can test things on the old setup before applying it to the new one is much better than to test it on an internal vanilla RH.

I'm tempted to bid on that hidden link, no reserve DA license...but I don't know if I meet the critera.

I have internal licensing through DA, is it still safe for me to bid and win? I'm going to need another license eventually, and anything under what I pay now is a steal. :p

Hey Matt,

You can as long as you have not won one of the auctions before. The only restriction that I am aware of is that there is only 1 of these special licenses allowed per person/company. So, even if you have licenses you are allowed one of these. But, only one. And the license can't be "resold" or transferred.

Mark can clarify it more if you (or anyone else) has questions about the restriction.
