Hi

I have a small problem with direct admin

in admin , i have 5 domains, and all the domains i can not access file manager it gives me: Your connection has timed out

Details Consider disabling the Folder Usage Count.

How and where do you do this? , for the resellers i can acess file manager theres no problem there.

Also for one of my domains only in admin, i cant acces E-Mail Accounts it gives me : Your connection has timed out

Either your request was invalid or the program hasn't completed your request. Please notify the server admin

for the rest of my domains it works and reseller too

what can this be?

And finally iin Admin Backup/Transfer evertime a do a backup for the admin it dosnt do anything , but will work for the resellers

thanks

dan2,

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "access E-Mail". Do you mean through either IMAP or through POP3?

If so, then do you use Dovecot/Maildir or mbox? This error often means you've got too large an mbox file. If you're using Dovecot/Maildir then you should shell (as root) to the user's Maildir directory and delete all files beginning with dovecot (they'll be rebuilt at the next POP3 or IMAP login), and check to make sure the site user and the email user both haven't gone over their quota.

The problem with the file manager may indicate that you've got too many files somewhere; I don't know where to disable the count; have you searched these forums? If so, and you can't find the answer there or in the DirectAdmin admin login or the DirectAdmin conf file, you may want to ask DirectAdmin Support.

The feature that may be causing the file manager issue is described here: http://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=678

You may make sure the entry filemanager_du=0 appears in your directadmin.conf file.

The issue with email may be related. One of your email accounts may be huge and is causing it to time out when trying to calculate the email account's size.
