I reported him for being abusive. Maybe he will get banned. This is now going nowhere. He might have a point if he bought from DA but he bought from a data center or some other provider. Maybe he got swindled. But that is no reason to be abusive to us.

I personally think the guy is just trolling the board and I know we've had a laugh at him as he's been a complete melt, (just matching his energy) but I'm really surprised this thread hasn't been pulled weeks ago for his constant belligerency. Totally agree though as he shouldn't be abusive to any of you as none of you have been abusive to him.

I wonder if @sysdev and @Richard G aren't paying DA off with profits from their sales?

We can't make any statements about this.

I'm sure they are already monitoring this and things will be taken care of when it gets too far. Which might indeed be now.

Besides, there are other companies that go bust and use the "cloud" to communicate with the license........ So, if that company goes bust or closes, your licenses are useless if they need validating....... Even most Windows versions call a server to check licenses - therefore, if you need to reinstall Windows, it'll need to call home to check the license key.

Damn, even companies that are still in business have revoked lifetime licenses due to changes to policies and removals of cloud integration. You should've read the T&C - and if there wasn't anything said about being a DA reseller, and how it works, maybe they were "untrustworthy" and were not fully transparent.
