Hi all,

I moved one of my users to become a reseller, using the dausertool.pl script (posted by hostpc).

The move required some manual editing to the users.list and domains.list files to make sure everything was in the right place again.

The problem that now occurs is:

* when this reseller-that-was-moved-from-user clicks on the "Manage tickets" link in his reseller-level page, the following error is displayed:

Code:
Program Error

Details

A segmentation fault has occurred

I only remember segmentation fault errors from failing memory or harddisks, but a friend mentioned that this is not necessarily the only time these appear.

So... has anyone had the same (or similar problem) with the manage tickets link?

And/or does anyone have an idea how I could try to fix this or what could be causing it?

If nothing comes out of fixing, I'll delete the reseller and try again. This would, however, suggest that moving a user to a reseller might not always work with the dausertool.pl script!

I deleted the reseller and tried to re-add him. This gave me an error that 3 digits is too few for a username. I didn't get this error when I added the user originally - so perhaps there were changes to DA in the meantime?

Anyway, it works again. I have a feeling that perhaps something went wrong because the reseller originally did only have 3 letters in the username...

Thats very intersting. I also used the tool to make a user a reseller after conversion and my reseller is getting the same error, see http://www.directadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14951&highlight=manage+tickets

Anyone know what needs to be fixed?

Also, i noticed that when making the user a reseller the u_welcome txt is not copied to the proper place so an error appears.
