On our server we want multiple resellers sharing 1 IP address (D) and one other reseller (say, Alice) having 3 other IP addresses (A,B,C) (preferably, also able to use the single IP (D) of the other resellers).
We've created Alice as a reseller and assigned the main/server IP (A). Now when trying to assign the other (multiple) resellers to 1 single IP (D) doesn't work. When making these resellers they all take their own IP address (B,C,D). When we first give Alice her other IP's (B,C) as well and then start to make the multiple resellers, the first one gets the correct IP (D) but the others refuse to be created as there is 'no free IP anymore'.
On our previous server this did work. One difference there is that Alice didn't had the main/server IP (A), there Alice had IP's B,C,D and the other resellers were sharing the main/server IP (A).
Could that be the problem? If so, is there a way out? We would like to keep Alice on IP A as it is already used by visitors.
Or should this be possible anyway? And can anyone help with how to setup IP's / create reseller (packages) to get this configuration going?
Thanks a lot!
