MYSQL for host domain

Hi Im a first time user of DirectAdmin

Im trying to setup a mysql database for the hostname domain.

I can only seem to do it for other domains setup on the account.

If i try add the hostname domain as user level it doesnt let me

Have you added a domain at user level? If yes you should have mysql management icon...

If not, you have to setup at least one domain for manage mysqls db

Also, is your hostname the same as your domain name, or is it in the format host.example.com?

A hostname should not be just a domain name.
