Is it possible to enable a way of logging into the database but through phpmyadmin? I can only log in via BASIC AUTH. I
Is it possible to disable this option and enable phpmyadmin login?

Trying to understand your aim. So you are trying to use one-click login, and when it gets redirect to PHPMyAdmin and you would ask for another layer of password using htpasswd? When you say 'panel login' do you mean directadmin panel or phpymyadmin panel?
