I have a 64bit server but i think it is running 32bit centos. How would i check?

what's uname -a show?

if indeed you are running centos 32bit shouldn't be a problem. Right now we are running into segfaults with ioncube loaders and 64 bit systems, more of an encoding issue so far than a plugin issue.
