HI,

here is it my back ground:

i just set up a new DA server with FC3, i have assigned to this server 10 IP addresses, in DA at the ip manager it looks like this

IP STATUS RESELLER USER(S) Nameserver
xxx.xxx.xxx.1 server 1
xxx.xxx.xxx.2 owned res01 res01
xxx.xxx.xxx.3 shared res01 86 ns1.domain.com
xxx.xxx.xxx.4 shared res01 90 ns2.domain.com
xxx.xxx.xxx.5 owned res02 res02
xxx.xxx.xxx.6 shared res02 20 ns1.domain2.com
xxx.xxx.xxx.7 shared res02 5 ns2.domain2.com
xxx.xxx.xxx.8 free
xxx.xxx.xxx.9 free
xxx.xxx.xxx.10 free

I expect to use the last 3 IP's to resellers that require me dedicated IP or own ip name servers and dedicated IP for web site.
I dont use Admin account to create users i made it via res01(this is for my own) , res02 ist one of my resellers.

This is my issue:

Now i want to create new resellers account wich must use the server IP, so when i create them with 0 ip and with shared server ip, all seen to be correct except that in the wellcome message i get the next.

nameserver 1: ns1.myadmindomain.com
IP: UNKNOW
nameserver 2: ns2.myadmindomain.com
IP: UNKNOW

and they for their users got the same message , just change the nameserver domain name to the one they choose at the resellers name server manager

I cant set 2 new ip's for every new customer, just for them to have an ip at the nameservers, i tried unsuccessfully in many ways to create 2 shared ips for name servers for all new resellers

so what do you think i can do , im open for any great ideas

THANKS

Hello

I have a similar problem and am not sure if DA can do this or not.

When I create new reseller accounts I can either assign them 1,2 or 3 IP etc or let them use the shared server ip.

What I want is to create all new reseller accounts using 1 shared IP (easy if its the server IP) but using a different IP address..

Is this possible?

Alan

Assign IPs to reseller in admin panel.
log in to reseller's account
On the reseller panel's IP configuration. Check the IP you want to be shared then click share selected.

My version of DA puts a 0 in the value field.
