Sharepoint Incoming Mail Configure

Hi All,
We are using DirectAdmin pop 3 mail server for our mail services. And I need to configure incoming mail settings for Sharepoint 2010. I Configure sharepoint server side. But it should be configure from DirectAdmin pop 3 server side.
Ex : http://myspexp.com/2010/06/14/configuration-of-inbound-email-4/
(This is for if we are using Exchange Server But We don't have Exchange Server).
If i setup the mail in Sharepoint and try to send mail from my existing directadmin mail. message came cannot delivery.
Eg: my Mail : [email protected]
Sharepoint admin mail - [email protected] (Which created on Sharepoint)

Please Help....!

It's possible no one here has any experience with Sharepoint.

I don't understand if if you're trying to switch to Sharepoint for all your email? If so, then you won't be using POP3 on your DirectAdmin server at all.

Can you be much more specific on exactly what kind of interaction you want between your local POP3 service on your DirectAdmin server and your Sharepoint server?

Remember that it's unlikely any of us are Sharepoint administrators or Exchange Server administrators.

I'm an exchange administrator, but your story does not seem clear to me. If you can see the possibillity to explain it further, I might be able to help you.
