Spam Assasin not working?

spam score is around 2.4, but setting required 3.0, trying reduce from 3.0 into 1.0 and testing check log again, it might something anouther issued.

Thanks, it was set to 3 and changed to 1 now.

grep spamd /var/log/maillog

Thank you, but it does the same as the command I gave cat /var/log/maillog | grep spamd only your command is a bit shorter, easier to remember.

It doesn't do the same thing in the background. When you cat the file you dump the while thing into stdin and then pipe it to the grep process. Under the right circumstances on a high load and a large enough log you'll thank me

Aha... that's the difference. Didn't know that. I might never have a high load, but I thank you anyway, it's good to know.
