There's an EU directive on data retention that is currently being discussed by EURISPA and the national governments.mike_p said:Which law would that be? Do you have a reference to it?

There are many solutions out there for sure. SA should be a plugin, I don't see why this should be such a big deal.
SpamAssassin is installed but not configured. It is not yet version 3.0.albatroz said:So what is the current status of SpamAssassin, does it comes installed by default? if so, which version? 3.0?
BigWil said:No really there isn't. Those other threads are so messed up, cluttered and out of date that I just spent an hour trying to fix my install.
If you feel so strongly about it why don't you post a new thread with what you would consider to be the most current information on the topic?BigWil said:
An up-to-date thread MUST be created and it should also have instructions of upgrading exim and spamassasin the the current DA versions.

DirectAdmin Support said:Hello,
I can look into a "condition" for turning it off. It would be a simple addition to the exim.conf where if the user_prefs file doesn't exist, spamassassin is not run for that user. To turn it off, just delete the user_prefs (ill provide a button for the user).
