SpamAssasin - so why it's not optional? and other suggestions

if i am right, V1.231 deletes the /home/<username>/.spamassassin directory when SA is turned off, so, normally SA should be off for that domain

if you want to be sure, ssh to the box, and check if that dir still exists
 
didn't need too.
turned off my user spam assassin by removing the checkmark in the reseller level and they started getting messages again with the threshold set back to 5.
I just set it to 1000 until I can figure out what to to.
