Stats Control (Yet another AwStats Plugin ;)

Configuration setting tweak

In /home/admin/.plugins/stats_control/aw_override.conf
DirLang is set to /usr/local/www/awstats/cgi-bin/lang . Should this be /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/Stats_Control/awstats/cgi-bin/lang ?

Yep. It seems you're right.

What makes this plugin different then the original one? Also how does one go about changing from the old plugin to this one?

I was referring to the one by fusionictnl I have installed.

I see there are major differences between the 2. Is it easy toi go from that to yours on a RHE 3 server? How can I preserver user's existing data?

I'd like to know that too, because i also have fusionictnl's plugin installed.

In your first post you say:
- Yep, awstats will work for subdomains also.

How does it work with subdomains? Fusionictnl's plugin doesn't automatically support subdomains.

Anyone?

What happens to the info in the DA Control Panel under:

Site Summary / Statistics / Logs

Since I decided to run the plugin on my site, this traffic data is no longer updated.
Is this normal? It still also says webalizer. Do others see this as a problem? Curious what you think.

I'm getting webalizer stats when I run /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/Stats_Control/scripts/stats_run.sh. The awstats (png, txt files) are being generated in the /home/user/domains/stats/ folder but the static pages are not being produced in the cgi-bin so cannot be viewed.

No errors being produced in /varlog/stats_run.log so cannot trouble shoot what the problem is.

Default installation path is http://domain.com/cgi-bin/awstats.

Lost two days worth of stats already....

Hi,

I'm using the static build configuration for the creating awstats but there is not a awstats folder in the cgi-bin.

Anyone want to chime in with an opinion on this? I noticed that now the link will direct you to awstats data. I suppose there is no way for the plugin to change the link names to AWstats instead of Webalizer? A little confusing for the end user.

How can I make it to rotate it daily instead of monthly?

Webalizer on somethingsomething.com is still on August and Awstats on something.com updates daily.

If you mean old logs that already rotated and packed - no. AwStats will parse only current log that exist in /var/log/httpd/domains.

The option to set the default processor to NONE is not working. When we set it too none, users are still seeing webalizer by default instead of None. Also, at the users level, the radio button for NONE default is not checked.
