Hi,

I've just setup a fresh DA server, but when resellers create new sub-domain accounts(as unique user accounts), they can FTP in, and the files are viewable in File Manager and FRP, but when accessing via http, they are getting the 404 Not Found error.

The main domain is pointing correctly to this server. Please advise.

Regards,
Suhail.

Thanks jmstacey.

This was my reply to client after working out what was wrong:

Okay it is fixed now. We have successfully created sub-domain accounts

suhail.havok-hosting.com
user1.havok-hosting.com
ivan.havok-hosting.com

All are viewable on the browser.

The problem was that you seem to have created sub-domains under the "havokhost" user account, then under the "havokhost" reseller account, then you created "ivan" and "clanboa" under the "havok" account = BIG MESS UP

From now on, please create sub-domain accounts under the main "havokhost" reseller account as we have done.

Also when you do create an account, you need to wait a while for the new settings to update. If you then deleted and create a new account without the previous one updating, you get the problems you have been getting.

Additionally, try creating any new account with unique usernames, instead of using ivan and clanboa all over the place.

Hope this is clear. Any further questions, please ask.
