Hi there,
I've hit a brick wall and think I've uncovered an issue which might be helpful to @pjjonesnz but also might highlight the need for a change to the way either mailboxes or subdomains are created.
The issue that I have is, I want to create a subdomain email inbox. Articles suggest that I should add the subdomain as a domain in it's own right... but the issue with this, is that the parent domain is linked to Cloudflare and syncing via the daflare plugin and Cloudflare doesn't allow for subdomains to be added as their own zone.
I thought, maybe I could simply add the subdomain as a domain and update the parent domain's DNS records accordingly, but that will mean that DA has duplicate entires for the records, and I can imagine that'll create issues.
So, why is it, that we cannot simply create mailboxes for subdomains from within the parent domain? Instead of just having @domain.com, this could be replaced with a dropdown also showing subdomains that have been created under the parent domain.
Really keen to identify a solution to this, but I can't think of one, other than to disable daflare, which I really don't want to do.
Thanks!
