I'm using Centos 5.5 by the way.

Ive just made

./update.script UPDATEME
./update.script CLAMAV

nothing more, CentOS 5.6 here

Oh you did? That's odd.
I did the same thing and I get the error notices. My update.script worked fine, even just before I updated.

Just tryed again the ./update.script UPDATEME and now it suddenly did not give an error notice and works fine again.
Strange. Could this error be caused by a hickup on the servers where the script try's to connect with or something?

i suppose yes, maybe some connectivity problem from update.script server i suppose.

But ofc i cant be sure... that happend to me time ago but just one time...

I just encountered this error notice during Clamav update. Is this important or can I ignore this?

if the compile end without error and you are able to start clamav and freshclam you shouldnt have any problem

Thanks, but it seemed not necessary this time. One moment it gave the error notice, other moment it didn't.
I'm getting errors with Clamav now tho:

Before I forget... I protected my /tmp directory.

he tryed to kill clamd, error are cause wasnt started.

Seems to be fine, try /etc/init.d/clamd (or clamav) restart

Oke then it's fine, thank you. I already restarted clamd before and it seemd to look fine.
I just got confused by the notice that the /var/lib/clamav could not be opened. But then all is oke.
