unable to add backup crons

when i add new backupcrons in the userbackup section, i select all users, set the cron schedule, select ftp, but when i hit submit io get:

Backups added to Queue

Details

You will be notified via the Message System when the process is complete

and no cron gets added?

backups are ftped, but no msg in msg system.
I only get msgs when i add the backups "now"

but i am unable to add crons

sander815, I'm a bit confused by your post.

My understanding is that DA will notify you when an instant backup is finished, but not when one from cron is finished.

Is that your experience?

Backups added to Queue !

Hello,

Before you hit the 'submit' button, you need to make sure that the cron daemon is running at the moment.

If its not running, then you need to restart the cron daemon by running the following command.

/sbin/service crond restart

Things should be on rolling fine again !
