Also, is the [email protected] email address the email address you have listed for whoever to contact you at? If so, and no emails are being received at that address, then they may have responded. Have you tried checking webmail on the server, or are you using an email client?
HOWEVER, that is going to a cPanel server (port 2096), and WHM/cPanel is accessible from /whm and /cpanel URLs.
Did you have your account migrated from cPanel to DirectAdmin but the DNS hasn't been updated yet? If so, I bet the missing emails are on the source cPanel server and the account will need to be remigrated, and then the DNS updated accordingly.
