Nope, nothing changed :(

BTW: Where do I see stats from 2005 :?

/usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/update/update.sh did run fine ? It's impossible that it didn't change!

2005 stats can be viewed by changing the Year pulldown box.. and setting a month.

This did the job ;)

Done.. updated to awstats-6.5<BR>

Working correctly now :)

v2.1.9

tar doesn't work in the DA sh scripts.. So I can't let the plugin extract awstats. You'll have to manually run the update script as explained when updating/installing!!!

Should correctly update users files now either, without breaking permissions.txt!

Milan If you read the first post. You know what to do. (Setup the cron job has been answered on almost every page of this thread)

Chrysalis

Problems while checking... ERROR 1

This means it couldn't download the main awstats page using WGET:

"wget http://awstats.sourceforge.net -Oawstats.ver -q"

If you haven't got wget installed. I could implement a work-around if this is the problem.

are you hard linking the path to wget in the script wget is installed, although on most servers I dont make it world executable for obvious reasons on this particular server it is.

-r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 226612 Nov 24 20:21 /usr/local/bin/wget

ok reread your post, yes I mentioned that update.sh which calls wget works fine when excuted from the shell so the whole wget download etc. all runs fine but it isnt executing during the plugin installation.

If the script runs through DirectAdmin there are several issues that won't work. One of them is running "tar" this isn't allowed somehow and by this the whole script fails. That's why you'll have to run the script by hand through ssh.

still have the issue after the update

Have same problem.

Should I update Awstats plugin in DA Control Panel first, and then afterwards run ./update.sh or the other way around?

After update, i have all time this error for view full year

------------------

Error: Full year view has not been allowed from a browser (AllowFullYearView should be set to 3).

Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.mydomain.com.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

------------------

Thanks!

geoipfree error

First, I want to say the plugin is great. I have tried to enable the geoipfree plugin and when I try to update the stats, I get the following error:

Error: Plugin load for plugin 'geoipfree' failed with return code: Error: Can't locate Geo/IPfree.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.2/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.2 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.1 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl . ./lib ./plugins ./plugins) at (eval 2) line 1.

How can I fix this?

Thanks!

nevermind, I fixed it by installing the geo-ipfree rpm. :D

Hi!
I have a little problem with awstats :P

Checking if there is already something installed..
Creating AwStats dir on domain
Setting Directory PermissionsChecking if awstats files are availableError linking lib dir /home/admin/domains/heberg-web.net/public_html/awstats/lib from /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/hooks/cgi-bin/libError linking icon dir /home/admin/domains/heberg-web.net/public_html/awstats/icon from /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/hooks/cgi-bin/iconError linking lang dir /home/admin/domains/heberg-web.net/public_html/awstats/lang from /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/hooks/cgi-bin/langError linking plugin dir /home/admin/domains/heberg-web.net/public_html/awstats/plugins from /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/hooks/cgi-bin/plugins
Checking for AwStats itself
Going to install the awstats.pl
Warning: copy(/usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/hooks/cgi-bin/awstats.pl): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/user/index.html on line 77 Error linking awstats.pl /home/admin/domains/heberg-web.net/public_html/awstats/awstats.pl from /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/hooks/cgi-bin/awstats.pl
(Re-)Activating CGI for dir
Doing an extra permission setting through shell..+(Re-)Setting permissions
Warning: chmod(): No such file or directory in /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/user/index.html on line 101 Warning: chown(): No such file or directory in /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/awstats/user/index.html on line 102 Doing an extra permission setting through shell..Done
Now (re-)creating your configuration file.
Config file has been created and your statistics are now setup!

You can now view the statistics for your domain at: heberg-web.net/awstats/

Anyone can help me ?!?
Thanks!

Update plugin troght DA to latest. Then run the update.sh script as it will probably discribe when updating plugin.

does this version fix the password protection been wiped on upgrade?

I have installed this plugin and it seems to work fine. I am notincing one problem though, it seems to be updating the stats every minute.

I am afraid it is taxing my server... is there anyway i can get it to update once a day?
