DirectAdmin 1.62.0 BETA-1

It's available already for $199/year, this includes full support for the license and the Pro Pack.
Ah, a little pricey for a hobbyist like me, heh. Perhaps you could make a licence without the support, if that's sustainable in the long run anyway.

I think there are also gonna make a package for the Pro pack to be bought seperatly. (And if not please correct me.) Since the Pro pack (As far as I understand it) will not be included in reselling licenses. (The licenses that OVH for example gets/uses.)
But I do not know the prices. And if you need to pay 199$/year for support and the Pro pack, I would look at a Lite license since it is less then 199$/year. (If this is possible for your use case.)

This is just speculation so do not see this as a "this is gonna happen":
I think when/if there gonna release the Pro pack for licenses that do not include it in the license itself, its gonna be 4,99$/month or 9,99$/month
And this meaning your gonna need to pay around 60$/year or 120$/year anyways. So it is really gonna be looking if a license change it cheaper or just the Pro pack.

DirectAdmin has already a license like that and its called "Personal". It will not include the Pro pack since the license is as the name says "For personal use only." and the Pro pack is more targeted at all customers that have multiple accounts. (Which is not possible for the Personal license.)

Yeah, Absolutely right

~5$ a month would be perfectly reasonable for just the pro-pack, though, I'd understand if they'd only do it with the support licences, as most people willing to buy the pro pack probably run on lifetime licences anyways.

Would be nice if it would be available on the beta for everyone to test. Getting a support package for a test beta server is a bit weird.
Lite license is another option, it comes with 30 days money back guarantee. So, you just spend $15, if you do not like the feature - you get your money back :)

Is there an option to test this on a DirectAdmin beta install with a lifetime license?

Just to clarify -- you mean Pro Pack features should be beta-tested on any license? I think that might cause too much confusion (people seeing features show up, then vanish later, depending on their license type).

For core features, of course any license should be able to do this. :)

Maybe I'm the only one but I don't like to run beta software on production servers, that's why I installed this beta on a test server and I don't have a license with a support package for that laying around. I wouldn't be confused myself as I'd do a reinstall or repurpose of that license anyway after the beta. Then again, you guys don't really seem to be responding to my feedback anymore anyway so maybe I'm just wasting my time here.

When we see the wordpress manager ? :O
We haven't started to work on it yet. Currently pro pack includes:
* Python/Java/Ruby/Perl support
* Additional features for Nginx (automatic CMS templates, WordPress+FastCGI cache support)
* Admin SSL (automatic SSL management)
* Ability to throttle resources per-user (CPU/RAM/IO etc.)

In development:
* GIT Manager
* More advanced email track & trace

That "More advanced email track & trace" sounds really interesting, especially if end users get access to that.
Yes, they will. Similar to SMTP In/Out logs in releases without pro-pack, just with nice graphical interface, filtering etc.

@smtalk Really Looking Forward to Track & Trace

A couple of questions:

With the resource limits can we maybe have some present settings for basic, standard and fast? just for reference. I know we can tweak actual settings.

Will custom build have the option to install the pro pack instead of manually running the command for the resources monitor etc...?
