An update would be appreciated.

Dear author, is there any server problem? I can't download the script by http://tools.web4host.net/update.script

and the URL http://tools.web4host.net/ is not working too.

Thanks.

Turn off your firewall while you do updates. Im not sure what port these outbound requests are happening on, should be port 80, but when i have CSF running i cant update anything. I have to turn off CSF during updates.
Strange. I have port 80 in my outbound rules. What other port should be open here?

One more question please. I tried to install phpclamav but getting following error:

configure: error: Cannot find php-config. Please use --with-php-config=PATH
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop.

php-clamav_0.15.6 install/update Done

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Is this script still being maintained? Im asking because there has been no recent replies to the issues above?

MD5 Checksum error on Imagemagick

and now and error with Proftpd + Mod_Clam

I tried to install mod_security2 with your script but when I try to restart the apache I get this error:

Code:
Starting httpd: httpd: Syntax error on line 133 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 10 of /etc/httpd/conf/extra/httpd-includes.conf: Syntax error on line 337 of /etc/modsecurity2/modsecurity-rules-selected-by-web4host.net.conf: No matches for the wildcard '*.conf' in '/etc/modsecurity2/activated_rules', failing (use IncludeOptional if required)

I also tried install rules with ./update.script MODsecurity2Apache2Rules but without success...

For now I commented the line 337 and apache started without errors, but I would figure out what to do to get it to work properly.

Thank in advance

I have the same problem, mod sec 2.7.2.
Anyone have any idea?

Hello

According the tutorial described at the first post, I followed all the commands and nearly solved the problem with libxml2.so...

Ok, now I see a new problem:

I think that installing update.script, should provide the situation for me to have kiss at my server. But when I execute kiss start, the response is:
Code:
-bash: kiss: command not found

Environment: A VPS running CentOS 5.7

Should I install kiss separately? I think it should be http://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=1235

Nobody has replied to support and help requests in weeks/months. Whats the point of keeping it open?
I wonder if anybody who want support took the effort to write the author a pm. Looks to me that is the first thing to do before complaining.

please wait, ill fix it soon after 1hr or less

Is that all? That's nothing!
I used it myself once for implementing Clamav, but shortly after that it was build in to DA itself, but kept the subscribtion to the thread, just in case.
If there are so many users as it seems, so many years and only 20 USD in 7 years, they should even be more greatful that you still support this, instead of complaining!
