In case no one noticed, the links in the start of this thread are 404's, and it doesn't talk about the cPanel transfer tool in Directadmin and it's options:
Replace existing user
Ignore convert errors
Preserve owner

cPanel import tool is a part of DirectAdmin now. You may find this feature on admin level when logged in to DirectAdmin control panel.

It would be nice to have some details on these. Like, why would you preserve the owner and would ignoring errors mean it can finish and not work correctly?
