[RELEASE] Installatron (DirectAdmin auto script installer)

There's apparently a HUGE hole in the current version of Coppermine... we need an update, here's what I tried, tell me if it'll work

Downloaded the source tar.gz from http://easynews.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/coppermine/cpg1.3.2.tar.gz

renamed it to coppermine133 in /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/iTron/cache/archives

Logging into Installatron, I see this updated:

Current Version: 1.3.3
Size: 2.79 MB
Website: coppermine.sourceforge.net
License: Free

Now, will that work from now on? Any caveats?

Thanks guys

hostpc, I'm not sure what you're trying to do there. You mean there's already an exploit in 1.3.3? How will downloading 1.3.2 fix an exploit in 1.3.3? You lost me. :)

You should delete that coppermine133 file too -- 1.3.3 is "archives/coppermine12" (it's build 12 of the installer).

Still working on Drupal. As far as I can see, Drupal's database upgrader script doesn't work without errors (and some of the posts on the Drupal forum seem to confirm this). I've given it to Phil, he can usually figure this stuff out.

-rw-r--r-- 1 webadmin webadmin 2492194 Apr 13 10:10 coppermine10
-rw-r--r-- 1 webadmin webadmin 2924274 May 6 08:26 coppermine12
-rw-r--r-- 1 webadmin webadmin 2258857 Dec 23 02:46 coppermine133

1.3.3 wasn't showing in the list... note the filesizes? it was still 1.3.2

And those are all the correct specs for 1.3.3. Perhaps you performed an Update without noticing? There's no mention of a newer version than 1.3.3 on the website.

Those are the correct specs for the old 1.3.2. The same file should also be:

coppermine8
coppermine9
coppermine11

This is the file you downloaded? The filesize doesn't match any coppermine archive I've been dealing with (in the most recent installers). I still think you should delete it. :)

I only see an error when I attempt to load that link. "Could not read file."

You appear to have the latest installer/archive files, so unless you're getting an error I wouldn't worry about it. :)

Sumaleth php 2.0.15 released fixes many bugs and security problems including 1 major security hole.

Update please.

Thanks

Yes, we did remove that installer. I'll have a look at re-adding it now that the new download system is in place.

I've had to pass drupal onto Phil. I wasn't able to get the upgrader working successfully. I thought about perhaps skipping the upgrader, but I know it's one of the more popular scripts so probably best to see what Phil can do with it.

Any eta on this as Drupal is powering one of our main sites.

We're aiming to get the new Drupal upgrader released tomorrow by this time. I'll post here once it's up.

Cheers, Phil.

Hello,

This doesn't work:

Installatron is not able to upgrade this script automatically.
Error Code: No .pack file could be found.

Installatron puts a .pack file in the install directory and won't be able to do some functions if that is deleted. If you've inadvertantly removed it, you might be able to make another install of Drupal (in another location) and use the .pack file from that. (it's a list of top-level files/directories that were created for that install)
