[RELEASE] Installatron (DirectAdmin auto script installer)

Who is setting the folders and files' owner?

[ ]DirectAdmin
[ ]Installatron
[ ]The script

One script was owned by apache:apache and the user couldn't remove the folder on its own, so I'm trying to find out how we could avoid this.

Some scripts create their own files after installation, and (depending on the script and when the file is created) they can create files with an ownership that makes them impossible for the user to delete.

In a lot of installers we're able to pre-touch files we know the script will create, which can get around the problem, but not all scripts are open to that sort of meddling.

'Gallery' is one, and I think 'phpMyFAQ' is another.

If you'd prefer not to deal with file deletion, I'd recommend removing those scripts using the Script Groups tool.

OK. Thank you for these explanations. In our case it was phpFormGen that created the files.
Wasn't this fixed in a previous update for that package ?
I submitted an bug report for it, and later on it worked fine :)

The "can't delete" thing isn't a bug, it's just a unix thing.

Carfull theses a problem with the updates tonight

Hi just updated r7 packages in the last hour and it hung !

All I get now is

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class softwarepackage:p_pivot in /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/iTron/cache/installers/pivot8 on line 3

Have sent report in but waiting for reply but thought best to put this up to stop anyone else ending up with the same problem.

I had exactly the same problem. I just went to the plugin manager and updated intallatron.

Ive already tried that one but as I was already running r7 it will not do it for me, perhaps you were running r6 so it upgraded for you !.

Hi This does fix the problem if anyone else gets that problem just delite the pivot and pivot8 files in the above folder and then she seems to update and work again, why it should have pivot and pivot8 seems a bit funny but weather it was a bug from the ftp site I am not sure but atleast it does fix it by deliteing these scripts and updating the installers.

I dont now if anyone else also gets this but it also keeps coming up with

LANGUAGE: English
> Notice updated language
LANGUAGE: Polish
> Notice updated language
LANGUAGE: Dutch
> Notice updated language
LANGUAGE: Português (Brasil)
> Notice updated language
LANGUAGE: Spanish
> Notice updated language

Every time you update the scripts but seems to me that they are not getting installed as this list will come up every time !!!
Cheers

phpNuke new version is out... 7.6, however it's now a PAY model.. $10 license.

Starting with 7.6 here's the deal:

This version is not available to the public for free. You can get access to it and download after placing your order at Reg.Net, the company in charge to manage this service. You can get PHP-Nuke 7.6 for only US$10 and receive a download location after complete the order. You must wait for an email sent by Reg.Net with your login, password and download location, process that can take from few minutes to few hours. Any problem you have please read the red note bellow.

By purchasing this latest version you'll be making a direct contribution to the future development of PHP-Nuke Portal System. This kind of systems can costs thousands of dollars, but you can get your copy for only $10 and at the same time you'll be contributing to future releases. Without your valuable help, PHP-Nuke can't continue to evolve and to improve day by day its features. So, here is where I want to say: Thank you for your support!

After you complete the order form, you'll receive an automated email with the download location valid for few days.

Please note that there isn't any update/upgrade offer due to the very low cost of the system. If you purchase one version today and tomorrow I release another version and you want it, you must pay for the new version. Is the only way that PHP-Nuke can continue to evolve Thanks for understanding.
