Not yet, but we'll have a full SDK working in the next major version. You'll be able to make your own personal installers with it.

I'm hoping to have a finished version of the new SMF installer finished tomorrow. It'll require a new version of Installatron to work, but we'll probably be putting out a release candidate in the next day or two so it shouldn't be a problem.

We're planning a release candidate in the next day or two, but that's about as un-vague as I can be.
 
i just wanted to know when you was planning the sdk for :) wether we are talkin weeks, months, years

but its not a major problem :) nice program btw.
 
Would that release candidate also support php5.0, because ioncube has released their loaders for php5
 
We will be releasing a beta later today that will have PHP5 support. There may be a few issues with Installatron and PHP5. We want to have all such worked out before releasing the release candidate.

how do i give someone else admin access to installatron yet also retain it for myself?

when our other admin tryes to access the installatron at admin level he gets an error saying


Error: Access Blocked

Only the 'myusername' user can access Installatron's administrative tools for this server.
 
Installatron can only have one administrative account. This is a limitation imposed by the file system and unfortunately cannot securely be worked around.

The new version of the SMF installer is available. You'll need to upgrade the iTron core to the new 2.5beta6 to use it though.

It wont update the installations and languanges just sits on pleasewait...



Edit oh wait it did took about 6mins though :eek: is it supposed to sit on the please wait... for that long?

As it says in the install docs, it can take up to 20 minutes. :) Although that's rare, usually it's in the ~5 minute range for that first Update (it's downloading about 60meg of software).

lol thats what i get for not reading them

suggestion:

make the update button put the updating into directadmins task q and let it do it in the background, then email you when its done...
